“Great Food, Good Cause”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

Professional, pretty and a very continental vibe: run by former street youth. Have the steamed fish wrapped in banana leaf with a side of green mango salad -- my favorite foods on this trip.

“Great food, great cause.”
Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

We popped in here after seeing a great cultural performance and were lucky to be seated in the last two seats available. The food was very good and knowing the great work this place is doing for the community makes it all the better. Definitely would recommend to all.

“Locals come to life”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

This restaurant was round the corner from our hotel and brings together street children to rehabilitate them to offer a differnt life in the catering trade. The food is a ittle more expensive but at least you know that part of your payment is to a good cause. Delicious food and something a little different.

“Making a difference, one bite at a time”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

Anyone coming to Phnom Penh should definitely stop by Friends. We ordered 4 dishes from the Tapas selection and they were all brilliant. Nicely prepared and even better than you would find in many restaurants in their country of origin.
The ambiance of the place is pleasant and relaxing allowing diners a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

To top it off, the restaurant is also a great example of how to run a socially minded business, with the staff getting work experience to change their lives.

I hope 100% of the profits go back to the business as stated, either way, it is one of the best culinary experiences you will have the in the capital.
