The hotel looks great, really! But... The water never ever gets warm, even if the sun i shining all day. The told us to let it run 2 min. then it would be warm, but NO! There had been clouds the day before so no hot water, but during our stay the sun was on all day, but there where still no hot water, the pool was warmer!
Then one of our mobilphone dissapeared while it was in the safebox.... The staff in the reception can open the safebox in 2 sec. they dont need a code on a paper. We saw it as we had to have one of the staff to open it one day where we made a wrong inter to the box. So the safebox is NOT safe!!! We where two people to check the safebox as we let the hotel, but they say that they have found it in the box...The box is VERY samll really!!! Do NOT stay here even if it looks great!

I am not sure how this phone was hidden in the safe or outside of it as our staff could not find it and it was returned to us by the following guests.

The hot water indeed did not work for two days in a row (first time this year we have 3 consecutive days without sun). A 30% reduction was given on all the nights this guests stayed, even for the nights with hot water.

Stayed on the top floor of this beautiful boutique hotel. Think it was about 4 flights of stairs or something to the room, but i guess its a good workout. Just the last thing you want to do after a day of sight seeing... Room itself was quite nice and is good value with breakfast being included.

Indeed, the last floor is high. We are currently trying to lease other properties around the Blue Lime to be able to offer more rooms at lower levels. keeping finger crossed.

We stayed at the Blue Lime in Phnom Penh from Jan. 10 to Jan. 13 and also for one more night on Jan. 17. Loved this hotel, the service is great and the hotel is a nice break from the busy city just outside the door. The pool area is like a tropical oasis, and a great place to spend time just to relax.

I also like the fact that is enviromentally friendly being solar powered and the concrete room is defintely unique.

We stayed at the Blue lime a total of 4 nights. The hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious and the salt-water pool is a big plus. The pool and bar area are very zen. Location is also pretty good, as it is less than 10 minutes walking-distance from the Royal Palace, a must-see in Phnom Penh. We really appreciated the friendliness of the staff, especially Leat at the reception and all the staff at the bar who were extremely kind and gave us above-average service. They'll be happy to teach you basic Khmer, which will really help you get around and meet people. Overall, a great place to stay in Phnom Penh. In fact, it was probable the best hotel we've been to in Southeast Asia. And the pricing is reasonable for the quality you get.

Stayed two nights at BlueLime. We were in a room facing the street, so it was a bit noisy at times, and despite the concrete walls, there was quite a bit of noise transfer from adjacent rooms. Staff were friendly, pool was sensational. Air conditioning was good, although the solar hot water took several minutes for the water to heat up. Free breakfast every morning, and free wireless internet at a decent speed, although not great strength. Essentially the same as the Pavillion [BlueLime's sister hotel] but at a much more reasonable price.

We stayed at the Blue Lime for 2 nights at the end of December. It was the last stop on our 4 week Asia trip and it was definitely one of the highlights! The hotel is situated in a great location - literally opposite the National Museum and only a 10 minute walk from the Royal Palace but yet it is very quiet! It has a beautiful swimming pool with very comfortable beds around it which is perfect for cooling off in after a long day sightseeing in the heat of Phnom Penh! The rooms are large and comfortable and the lobby area is very elegant with lots of computers available with free internet access. We also found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. There are always tuk-tuks waiting outside the hotel so it's very easy to get around in the day and at night. Our favourite nightspot in Phnom Penh was the FCC club - would really recommend going for cocktails as the atmosphere is amazing, it overlooks the river and the interior is beautiful!
