“Paradise in Phnom Penh”

This great little hotel lived up to the reviews that we had read. We found to whole experience hard to fault. We had a pool room and it was fantastic to have your own private pool. Great for morning sun nd shade in the afternoon. The breakfast area is semi covered outside near the pool leafy surround and this doubles as a bar during te day and evening. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again. The construction on an adjacent building might bother some, however it didn't bother us and was out of the control of this hotel management.

This was the most expensive place we stayed at during our SE Asia trip through Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.

We stayed in a superior room which was immaculate and had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The bed was also excellent and the room felt spacious.

The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast good and the pool area is also nice. The pool is very shaded and as a result is very cool, this is refreshing when you first get it but not that enjoyable to stay in for a long time.

The construction work is a real down side at the moment, and judging by the size of the monstrosity being built it will be like this for some time. Work starts 6am everyday including Saturday and Sunday, make sure you bring ear plugs! We were ok about this as we were pre warned upon booking.

Free Wifi but quality is poor. They do have computers you can use in reception with good quality Internet

TIP: because of construction you are able to use the pool at sister resort The Plantation. Make sure you do this as it is very close by and the pool is stunning, with a nice mix of sunny and shaded areas. You need to get a ticket from Blue Lime reception to get entry to the Plantation.

cool elegance. Blue Lime offers everything needed, close to the palace and river front, yet tucked away in a little side street. Construction is going on on one side, but if you get your room on the right side of the pool (when looking from the reception) you are fine. If you need a view this is not for you. The rooms to the left of the corridor have towel sized "gardens" - but basically, you are looking at a wall barely two meters away. A high wall, 3 meters at least. Mine was rather warm although the aircon was on, and mosquitos were buzzing. With the mosquito net down it was just too hot to sleep. The staff was very attentive and gave me another room the next day. no views, either, but no mosquitos and it was cool enough.

Room Tip: as of June 2013, rooms on the right hand side of the pool are not disturbed by construction noise ne...

Wow what a place!!
We had a deluxe room with a private pool. Those rooms are usually just for two people. Because they just had one room left in the whole hotel, they offered us to stay 3 people in the room. They didn't charge us any extra prize, even the breakfast wasn't charged for the third person, which is extremly generous for 3 nights.
Breakfast is included in the prize, same as water from the minibar, towels (every day fresh ones), wifi and dvds to watch in the room.
The design of the rooms is really chic, but not too fancy. I felt really comfortable, even though i usually take lower prize hostels.
Staff is really helpful, hospitable and professional.
I can warmly recommend this place to everyone!

Room Tip: If you once want to treat yourself a bit, take a room with a private pool, it's just amazing!!!

We recently spent three days at the Blue Lime. It is well located and the bar and pool area were nice but there were problems with the room. The room was at the top of the building and there was no lift. The air conditioning didnt work for two of our three days. It started leaking on the second day which wasnt fixed until we reported it for the second time. After the leak was fixed the air conditioner no longer blew cold air. The room was like a sauna. The building work next door to the hotel was extremely loud and work started each morning at 6.30. It was difficult to sleep even with ear plugs. Finally the breakfast was one of the least impressive we have had in south east Asia.

For someone who usually stays at budget hotels, the Blue Lime hotel felt downright luxurious. Its atmosphere is modern and tasteful, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the pool was a refreshing way to unwind after a day out sightseeing. The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here based on TA reviews. The rooms are ok but the beds are very uncomfortable, air conditioning doesn't work properly and sounds like a jet plane taking off. Staff were not very helpful. Tried on 2 occasions to get some ice but they had run out. Much better value at other places I would think.

Room Tip: We had a private pool room -not really worth the extra money
