“Great choice near Russian Market”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

I've eaten at Cafe Yejj several times. They have a solid menu and good service. At times the food can be a bit bland (i.e. some wraps I've had). They have a large drink menu, as well as happy hour specials. The upstairs dining room is air conditioned and is a great retreat after the heat of Russian Market. Overall, a nice choice for a quick lunch or breakfast.

“Nice service and fine drinks”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

We have been to this place more times as it is strategically located near the Russian Market, and every time is has been fine.
Very nice people working there and fine service.
The food has been fine but nothing special - the drinks are really good and our children especially love their milk shakes as they have cream with a colorful topping:-)

“Disappointed...again...”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

I keep trying this place, wanted to give it one more chance and because it's strategically located near the Russian Market, but keep being disappointed...My friend ordered the Egg benedict, and when it came, there was no spinach. When she told the waiter, he casually said, oh spinach is finished...well he could have said that before my friend ordered, or offer to replace it by something else, or reduce the price...I ordered the aubergine rolls, they were stuffed with so many basil leaves, actually there wasn't much else inside, I do love basil leaves but that was just over the top and impossible to finish. Then we chose the Baileys white chocolate cheesecake, sounded really nice. But one spoon was enough to notice that the cheese was off, when we try to explain that discreetly to the waiter, thinking that they shouldn't even serve it to other customers, they thought we just didn't like it... Pity, as I remember really liking this place two years ago...

“quality has gone down”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

got unlucky and got food poisoning from the pad thai. i used to live in phnom penh a few years ago and loved this place, i especially loved their blueberry pancakes.

a friend who works in the restaurant business in pp said their quality has gone down the past few years. i would actually still come back here for memories sake, but maybe i'll clear of the meat...

“Delicious!”
Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. The kitchen was spotlessly clean and the atmosphere was laid back. I'll definitely be eating there again.
