“Give it a try”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

The place looked like an oasis in a grey neighborhood.I tried the lemon an honey chicken which was superb. Price is a little bit higher but serves apparently a higher purpose (which I applaud!). Service good be quicker (learning curve?) But when on holiday who cares about time really? The place is clean and the food is good. Give it a try! I would eat there again any time!

“Relief from the Russian Market”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

The food is a bit average here so perhaps just stop for a drink and a sit down.

I stumbled across it when I was completely overwhelmed by the hot stink and the low ceilings of the Russian Markets.

I was thrilled to learn that the cafe is a training ground for underprivileged young people and vulnerable women. Happy to support that!

“Nothing special”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

It's ok but I wouldn't go there again. It's a quiet little cafe for a drink in the afternoon but it's overpriced.

“Service Slow. Food was overpriced”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

Good escape from heat in Russian Market. Downstairs was ok. Friendly service, but wait staff was slow and not attentive, food was slower.
Overpriced targeted mostly for tourists. There are other options nearby.

“Good location near Russian Market”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

The chicken wrap was excellent. White wine was reasonable for the price. Good cafe atmosphere. Prices good and staff helpful. Good a/c upstairs. Downside: Food took some time because they were busy. Overall very good.
