“Beautiful, quiet”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013

You have to go here. So close to the river front and main restaurant street. This is also free, as I recall. There weren't many people when I went there (mid afternoon in late Dec) - very few tourists, and grounds keepers, so you should have a relaxing time!

It boasts displaying "Buddha's single eyebrow hair." I apparently went in the temple for it, but didn't see anything, nor could anyone tell me about it. oh well.

“Interesting Temple thought not Particularly Beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2013

Phnom Penh is fairly light on sights and this is one of them that is moderately worth visiting. It is an interesting temple, not particularly beautiful, at least not compared to many others. In fact it is like so many others that dot the Cambodian landscape. Still it comes with its own site-specific story and makes for a nice half an hour visit.

“Peaceful. Magic.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2012

Magical experience. Go when there is little tourist.
The upstairs sanctum is a great place to meditate, because it is away from the maddening crowd.
The monks, some who speak English, were nice to have introduced the upper floor.

“I like Wats”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2012

This one is very much like the traditional wats found in Cambodia, but worth a look if you're in the area. Just be respectful!

“Worth a stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012 via mobile

Interesting and definitely worth a stop. Made to feel welcome and no problem burning some incense along with the locals. Entrance is free.
