“Very impressive!”
Reviewed March 7, 2014

A very impressive mosque. We visited in the morning when not very many people were around. The massive size of the building is juxtaposed to the fine and intricate detail of the mosaics in a very well blended result. The well manicured gardens with the fountains are very peaceful.

The size is massive, the architecture is grand, the sound (if visited on a Friday noon) will complete your experience.

Definetly the most expensive mosque ever built, and truly impressive both from size perspective and slo from the selction of building materials used.

“MUST SEE ATTRACTION”
Reviewed January 21, 2014

Brilliant! complete with fountains both inside and outside. Curved staircases made from marble, elegantly detailed doors, windows. The inside of the prayer hall is exceptionally gorgoues, the intricate details on the main wall where the imam leads the prayer is superb. It is a little out of town but definately worth a visit. The place is huge!! covering a massive area of land, truly is breathtaking, a definate landmark. I had walked here from the radisson hotel (30minute walk along the main street) and it was worth it. If you decide to take the same route as I did you culd stop at the jubillee park along the way as well as get refreshments at the large mall just before you arrive at the mosque.

“Very large and impressive”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

The sheer size and scope of the building was hard to take in. Everything was spotless and impeccably maintained. The main prayer areas have to be seen to be believed. A wonderful insight into the people and their beliefs.
