There is a great collection of information about Brunei and the royal family. Very interesting collection that is worth some time to wander through and explore.

“Worth dropping by”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

This is perhaps the best museum we went to in Brunei. There were a lot of displays, and the collection of gifts received by the Brunei Royal Famiy were impressive. No photography allowed inside the galleries, but photos are allowed in the lobby. Lockers are also provided since people aren't allowed to bring bags, cameras, phones, etc inside the galleries.

“Museum that makes you go WOW!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2013

Very informative as you walk through the history... Museum is really set out well and really clean and beautiful. So much to see.
Do take a Jacket and Socks. It is quite cold inside and you must remove your shoes.

“Archive of Beautiful Things”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2013

This is THE one place you should go to when visiting Brunei. Nothing else really matters. This is a museum that is well organised. It has many things that other heads of states/ dignitaries have given the sultan of Brunei. From riches to the rich. The bathrooms are horrible though. Spending a hour would be easy here. And then you can say you are done with Brunei.
