Zen Spa was satisfying. It is nicely furnished and very new. Each room comes with a shower. I took the Lavender Package consisting of vanilla coconut scrub, honey oatmeal body masque and massage, which took two and a half hours, and normally costs about $90, with no other charges. The whole therapy was done with disposable briefs.
The stuff used for my therapy felt good but lacked scent. That’s probably good for people with sensitive skin.
Raymond, my therapist, is quite young and small-sized. Generally, his massage is quite good. He used a lot of pressure and worked hard to give a good massage. He really worked over my legs and back. His English was enough to communicate but don’t expect to have a long chat with him.
The minor details gave away his inexperience. For example, he wasn’t as good at massaging my hands and feet. I would also have liked a cup of water sometime in the middle of the 2.5 hr therapy.
All said, it’s good for the price though I probably would just go 2 hrs of pure massage next time as I can’t stand being cocooned for long.
