This market sells almost everything that you won't normally find in supermarkets and the good thing is that everything is fresh. It is also located just along the water taxi terminal and infront of several shophouses in downtown Bandar Seri Begawan.

If you are early you can buy Rambutan, Mangoes or Marang for breakfast. open every day. This tamu has the typical chaotic character that makes it so different from a shopping centre, maybe not the cleanest place but that is where the locals buy their vegetables, and they are fresh. You can meet some real characters here.

A local market that sell everything for the local's consumption
It is an open air market located along the banks of Kianggeh river. Here you can find some of the city's fresh produce, alongside native foods and other handicrafts. It is cheap. If you wish to experience some local food, veges and fruits, lets have time here!
The market is open daily until late evening.

Just an ordinary market. Some local delicacies can be found right at the end of the market. Try them as it is cheap and very nice. I especially like a small rectangle in shape kuih which was wrap with very hard leave - do not know what is called.

It is a open air street market. Beside a water canal of sort where you can ride small boats that almost look like canoes. It is primarily a fruit and veges market. Nothing special. If you have seen one you seen them all kind. Mostly women selling. That was interesting. That seemed to be a theme is Brunei. Mostly women doing all the work or the selling and store keeping etc.
