I have stayed here twice, and I will stay here every time I am in Bangladesh. The rooms are clean, mine had a nice view of the lake. Great breakfast. The best part is the staff. They are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a good stay. When I arrived at the airport, my luggage was lost. After a 2 day journey, I was tired and stressed, but the staff at the hotel told me not to worry. They took care of calling the airport for me and retrieved my luggage for me the next day. They always provide a great experience!

This is one of my most favourite hotels in Dhaka city and it has ranked been no.1 (by TripAdvisor) in terms of guest satisfaction. My wife and I often come here to dine in their ground level restaurant as the food is always great! The staff here are also very approachable and intuitive upon guest expectations. The pool on the rooftop is beautiful and rather isolated! My wife and I always felt that something could be done here to attract more guests as the area is really peaceful and lovely! Keep up the hard work guys and congrats to the GM!

Well I have a mixed feeling about the property since the time I checked-in. Let me give bullet points to high light all major points.

***Check-in : 3*
I had booked "Lakeshore Banani" as the property was quite new. However at the time of checkin the management had shifted my bookings to "Lakeshore Hotel & Apartments" which is another property in Gulshan of the same group. I was never informed about this transfer which is quite pissing off, THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD HAVE CURTESY TO TAKE MY PRIOR CONSENT / APPROVAL. I was upgraded to a suite room. THANKS SO MUCH.

There is no complain for location as both the properties are in prime location of Dhaka. Restaurants and shopping near by and very convenient. This is one of the major plus point of the hotel.

**Rooms : 2*
I was really surprised to see room conditions. Furnitures, carpets, Flooring, tiles everything need a SERIOS RENOVATION. Everything old and worn-out, I don't know why management is not taking this seriously. This is the a big setback ! Am still shocked seeing out dated rooms of such a high ranking property.

One of the best service I have ever experienced. I give 100% for services, thanks so much and really appreciate the hospitality.

Breakfast is fine, nothing much to complain, reasonable choices.

A mixed experience with room quality a major set back, otherwise this is a nice property with very good management. Lobby even have a live chat ( fast food ) counter on evenings, lobby area is lovely and quite busy all day.

I will recommend this property only if you are not too much fussy about room quality. If you are looking for a modern room with nice decor this is not the place. Location and services / management is winning.

I might like to try a different property in my next visit, where I can have a better room standards.
