Imagine going back in time by 100 years ;to see a steam boat ferry you down...
Chaotic,Difficult , Interesting, Exciting...a mixed bag of overflowing emotions would justifiably describe the scene in the early morning or at Dusk.
Dont miss out the small boats lighting a lamp in the evening when the sun goes down and a play of colours on the horizon.

After egotiating Dhaka traffic for over an hour, we got out of he car and suddenly we were at the wide Buriganga River with a large number of small and large boats busily crossing ad navigating the river. For a better view, take a look from a docked ferry.

Dirty, crowded, Not safe, smelly. Too crowded to be there. Alone is not recommended. Ladies should be accompanied by men. Not safe for women alone.

Sadarghat is not clean. Nasty and stinky smells in the environment. The structures are very very dirty. The place is crowded. The planks to get to the ship is very bad and seems to break. 1 million taka should be spent on it.
