Went there on our way to Qobustan and mud volcanoes. Some local people come here for special worship. The open space outside the mosque gives you a good view of caspian sea. Not worth an exclusive trip.

It´s a bit further away but accessible with a frequent bus from the city center. You can take pictures inside. They are not picky with the dress code.

These historical places are well kept. Its a must on a visit to Baku. The City is safe and has great places to eat. The food is a bit greasy and while everyone love Ferouiza Restaurant, it did not work for me.

Visited here as part of a tour with my hostel.
The standouts on this trip were the mud volcanoes and Gobustan.
The mosque on the way back was a 15 minute stop off.
Good views from the outside of the mosque and over the port at the back.
Okay on the inside.
15 minutes is sufficient. Didn't provide a 'wow' factor....

This is a rebuilt mosque and if you have visiited mosques elsewhere you will be struck by the different colour inside! You can see the traditional cut glass windows here.
