This is a must in Baku...views of the city/water/flame towers are wonderful. You can get to the top in just a few minutes and learn about the history of the tower.

First things first, yes it's expensive copared to other attractions in the city (Carpet Museum 7 Manat for example), and the interior is pretty small with no lift. But the views are good - especially south west across the old city and up towards the flame towers - and frankly if you've come all the way to Baku you might as well. I also reasoned that I'd pay exactly the same if it was in the UK, and that helped the irratation at the cost to die down.
