I did two tours with One Way tours while in Armenia. The positive sides were the nice guides who were informative, small groups (we were in a minivan and not in a bus unlike other companies), good prices and nice atmosphere. What could be improved was the route of some tours (some stops were really random and we were wondering why do we stop here like Lake Pars and a place with water fountains with different temperatures, too much time was planned for these places that are not really that interesting) and the food courts because they serve reaaally bad food, my stomach was aching. Would be nice to plan the lunch break in some traditional restaurant, maybe you can get a cooperation. The tourists would be happy and healthy!

This is my second time i booked from Onewaytours. The first one was for KhorVirap with Bella and now to Lake Sevan (with a tour guide that looks like in a hurry always)
I already had my expectations since ive been in a different tour with the same agency. And i know i should lower my expectations.
The trip was smooth. What i did not like is the tour guide feels like in a hurry. Thats why i didnt bother to ask his name again because it wasnt worth it.
Still same system where he explains in Russian then translates to English. But theres one thing i could not forget, he invested lots of time for Russians explaining and very small amount of time for English. He even forget to explain to us Refectory of one Monastery!!!! He started to explain it to russians and they got ample time inside the refectory. But for us English speakers, we didnt even get to the door of refectory. We just did it by ourselves!
One more thing, while we were in Old dilijan, Theres one cross that when you peek into it, theres a face of a man! He didnt explain to us! But he explained to Russians! After he explained to russian he just told us (english speakers) to see old dilijan then he lit a smoke (for the hundredth time).
While i was trying to get a video as well, starting his explanation, not even 3seconds he asked to cut it off! Well, I am a traveler and i have a right to take videos of what i want to. I didnt mean to take a video of him (i wouldnt dare take a 2min clip of him explaining) Thats why im traveling to take videos and photos i could remember for the rest of my life.
Anyway, the trip was okay because of the amazing travelers. But i opted not to book again with the agency and looked for better ones. Second and last. This is just my honest review and experience.

Amazing day trip to Tatev. The view at Tatev is stunning. We thought it was worth taking the aereal tram. Milena was a fantastic guide and George made sure we had a nice ride.

This review is a week old because i was trying to compare different companies and different guides.
I arrived in Armenia with nothing to expect. Book Oneway tours for KhorVirap and try to see the beauty of Armenia.
I booked English tour (which is more expensive than Russian) but found out that during the trip it will be as one. The system is, they will explain first in Russian while English speakers can roam around the place, then Bella, the tour guide will translate in English while the Russian speaking tourists roam around. Give and take.
I was a bit disappointed at first because before coming to Armenia, i had great experience with excursions to companies in Georgia. And Russian tour is Russian, English tour is English. Not mix!
Maybe this is how they do it in Armenia. So i became okay then later that day.
Bella was helpful and explained well the things we needed on her best ability. If i would rate Bella, i would give her 5/5 but because its an overall rating, id give it 4/5.
Unlike the other tour guide from Onewaytour also who did not explain everything to us and seem in a hurry, Bella was patient and gave us ample time to do the things we need as tourists.
Overall, it was a great trip. Smooth ride by Samvuel.

Dear emmanabelardo, thank you for the review. Please note that all of our tours have 2 price tags that are mentioned on our website. The first price is for locals and the second is for foreigners. For foreigners, the information is provided in English or Russian, and the price does not differ for English or Russian. If in the group we have participants speaking English or Russian the guide devices group into small groups and tells all the information in languages. The priority is given by the number of people in the group, but please note that the same information is provided to everyone equally. During the time when the guide tells the information the other part of the group has free time, which is what would have happened if the information in English was presented on the 1st or the 2nd. This is an acceptable option for the group tours, that the group tours are organized in 2 or 3 languages. Anyway, thank you for the feedback. Will be happy to see you in Armenia.
Absolutely recommend tour operator! Very well organized, very friendly, social and interested. Had many tours everywhere but this is really on place 1.
