Nice pedestrian street with fashionable shops and cafes. Some shops are underground in what look like metro station entrances.

Just trying to add photos; it's a street so there's not really much to review. It's a cool pedestrianised area in the middle of the city with most of the big chain shops and fast food outlets one would expect anywhere, as well as a fair share of overpriced tourist traps and one or two nice cafes. There are many great photo opportunities up the street, especially with the imposing opera building on the far end from Republic Square. As with in any city though, all of the best places to go and experience the real soul and life of the city, country, and people will be found not on the main tourist drag nor anywhere nearby.

A lot of shps and bars and restaurants, no cars a pedestrian street, interesting to walk.
At the beginning we took a coffee and capuccino at the grape and co a part of the golden palace hotel, very good coffee with sweets offered for free. Very friendly staff, just loved the way they decorated this place very luxury and good to relax and enoy inside or on the terrace. Try this.

Its fun , dont miss it. You can see Yerevan modernization here. I have been in a few cafes and restaurants here, pretty cool place. I spent the majority of my time over here, dont stick to only this Avenue. If you try other close avenues you will find a lot of interesting shops cafes too

Walking through this street is unique experience to feel vibrations of this town. Also, depends about time. You can find there everything what you want except cheap restaurants.
