We've been to Speakeasy twice. First time just for the cocktails and the second time for burgers.
Speaking of cocktails: EXCELLENT! The guys really know what they are doing. They have an extensive cocktail menu: the Mojitos are great (hard to spoil that one :-), the Singapore Sling tasted exactly like in the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel Singapore (this says alot;-) I think the fact that the place is co-owned by an American barman explains why their cocktails are so good and unlike other bars in Yerevan they don't seem to cheat with the ingredients!
Also, they've got Heineken on tap as well as local stuff!
Moving on to the food. The burgers are really good - one of us tried the cheese burger (was excellent), someone else had a classic one, which was even better. The Speakeasy burger I had tastes a bit Middle-Eastern (I think due to added cumin or Bahar Spice) and it was delicious.
Chicken wings are nice also. The fries are made from real potatoes, not the frozen stuff.
The only thing that might put people off is a very loud music. Possibly, the concept of the place assumes participation of the life DJs.But guys, come on, at 7-9pm people are interested in sitting, eating, drinking and having a laugh, a good time and maybe a little flirting chat - well, your extremely loud music at that hour makes it all impossible. Please, think about it!
Also, the place is not that easy to find. Even though their address is Northern Avenue, the place is based on one of the side streets. Maybe it makes sense for the owners to pin-point themselves on Google Maps making the bar easier to find?
