I stayed 4 nights in this beautiful house in central Yerevan. My room was comfortable and quiet, with heating and excellent wifi. Pleasant living room. The whole house is beautifully decorated. Breakfast was excellent. Good value for your money. Supermarket and all possible conveniences nearby.

The hotel has a lot of charm and character - each room has very interesting and unique decor with rustic touches. Lots of books all over and all kinds of art. Comfy bed and an absolutely wonderful breakfast. The staff was very courteous and nice. The location is very convenient - we walked everywhere. Definitely recommend.

Yerevan was the last stop on our Caucasus journey, Villa Delenda our last hotel - we could not have wished for a nicer place to spend our last days in Armenia. Occupying part of one of the last grand mansions in the heart of the city (sadly under threat of demolition to make way for a retail complex), the hotel offers guests five spacious rooms - all with private bathrooms- a spacious sitting room and a large dining room, all furnished in keeping with the period of the house. Staying here is much more akin to staying in a comfortable private house, a little worn maybe but wearing its age with far more grace and style than any run-of-the-mill hotel. It won't suit everyone, but we really enjoyed it.

The hotel helps fund a charity that provides support to Yerevan's disadvantaged children; a ceramic shop on the premises is part of the same enterprise. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from Freedom Square, with several restaurants in the same street and an attractive park just across the street.

Breakfast is served at a large table in the dining room, a table laden with cereals, fruit, breads, spreads and preserves, eggs, cheeses, tomatoes, yoghurt, etc. Freshly cooked French toast with sour cream and apricot jam was delicious!

The friendly, helpful staff are every bit as charming as the house. Whilst there is no permanent night staff and guests are given a key to let themselves in after hours, late arrivals and out-of-hours departures are not a problem -there is always someone appointed to be on hand for such times.

Room Tip: There is no lift, our ground floor room faced directly onto the street. It didn't bother us, you may prefer to take the stairs.

One couldn't stay in a more central place in Yeravan - an old world building with new world hospitality and charm. The staff were really sweet and helpful. The breakfast is awesome with some delicious fruit spreads and preserves. The place is within walking distance of most sights and tourist spots in Yeravan, has a lovely park just opposite and some really nice restauarants less than a minute away. Great place to base oneself in while in Yeravan. I only wish the TV was working though - I stayed there twice over two nights each and the TV was down all through

Villa Delenda is not so much a hotel as a temporary private home. The hotel sign at the door says it all: there isn't one! Guests get their own key to the monumental front door, so you can come and go as you please. The classic villa is home to several non profit organizations, a ceramics shop and eight nicely renovated rooms. Our room was spacious and rather comfortable, although I wouldn't call it luxurious. A little more light would have been nice and the walls between rooms aren't exactly soundproof, but these were minor issues. Breakfast is served in a beautiful, homely basement room, on a common table. We would have preferred private tables, but again - a minor issue. All in all we loved staying in Villa Delenda very much. It is the perfect place for exploring the city.
