One couldn't stay in a more central place in Yeravan - an old world building with new world hospitality and charm. The staff were really sweet and helpful. The breakfast is awesome with some delicious fruit spreads and preserves. The place is within walking distance of most sights and tourist spots in Yeravan, has a lovely park just opposite and some really nice restauarants less than a minute away. Great place to base oneself in while in Yeravan. I only wish the TV was working though - I stayed there twice over two nights each and the TV was down all through

Villa Delenda is not so much a hotel as a temporary private home. The hotel sign at the door says it all: there isn't one! Guests get their own key to the monumental front door, so you can come and go as you please. The classic villa is home to several non profit organizations, a ceramics shop and eight nicely renovated rooms. Our room was spacious and rather comfortable, although I wouldn't call it luxurious. A little more light would have been nice and the walls between rooms aren't exactly soundproof, but these were minor issues. Breakfast is served in a beautiful, homely basement room, on a common table. We would have preferred private tables, but again - a minor issue. All in all we loved staying in Villa Delenda very much. It is the perfect place for exploring the city.

Really helpful people run this hotel which is just off Mashtots Avenue and a small park. Rooms are perfectly spacious and have adequate bathrooms with plenty of hot water. Beds are comfortable and breakfast is simply lovely. It is about 15 - 20 minutes walk from the market and near enough to walk to all the places in the city centre. Libraries of books are available and wi-fi is generally available on one of the networks though you might have to sit in the dining room to access it. I would definitely recommend this hotel but beware. There are plans to demolish the neighbourhood, no doubt for more soulless sets of high-rise flats. It would be a terrible shame because the history this sort of home affords is not found in other places in this city. Taxi service from the airport is available(8000 AMR) and they can organise tours for you. Let's hope you didn't make the mistake of booking with Viator before you came. A total let down on 2 days out of 2 bookings. Had I known the girls at the Villa could have done it, a lot of angst would have been saved.

Villa Delenda is a beautiful house. The rooms were decorated in a cosy way. It was nice to see them named after cities. The breakfast was excellent. The place is in the middle of yerevan but at the same time on a quiet street. For the price and location, it is an excellent place to stay at.

This small property overlooking a pleasant square is tastefully decorated with period furniture and its spacious rooms exude an air of subdued good living. Relax in the cosy living room after a day of sightseeing, enjoy the well-selected works of art that grace the bookcases. The family-size breakfast tables are set with bespoke ceramic dishes crafted by a foundation that has a shop next door; breakfast is a feast also for the eyes. Feel pampered by Amalia and her colleagues who welcome and care for guests in their unobtrusive, solicitous way.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the Villa offer a glimpse of Mt. Ararat on clear days.
