The hotel is centrally located in Nha Trang City. It’s about 400m to the beach and close to the night market. Though the entrance to the hotel is not the best it’s facilities cover for that. The rooms are spacious enough and clean. The staff were very welcoming and ready to help if called upon. Though not a top rated hotel it’s buffet breakfast was great. It’s close to a host of different restaurants and it being in the Russian enclave those with a pallet for Russian food would love the hotel location. Has a swimming pool in the rooftop. It’s located in a quiet place.

Likes:
1) Nice view of the sea from the room
2) Hotel located in a small alley which was not too noisy (but there are construction right next door)
3) Lots of restaurants & shops around
4) Approx 400m to the beach (across the main road)
5) Airport bus stop is just approx. 200m away

Dislikes:
1) This is the first ever hotel which does not provide ironing facilities. You have to pay to get it done.
2) Most of the staffs were not very friendly (hardly smile)
3) Lack of power points in the room. I had to boil water next to the bed.
4) Hot water shower were not very hot.
5) Too many hotel rules. They have a list of rules in the room

Good room, but staffs need more training
We spent 3 nights in this hotel as our honeymoon trip. We booked the senior deluxe room with balcony. The room was good, spacious, view to the beach was amazing. The breakfast was so so, it needs to be improved with more options. The only thing i was not satisfied with is the attitude of the waitress in the restaurant, she came and clean everything on the table while i was having breakfast without asking if i have finished or not, that was rude and not really professional.

Disappointing Stay
Our stay at the 4 Star Apus Hotel was most disappointing. The size of the rooms, relative to the pictures we saw when booking on Agoda, was misleadingly small. During our three day stay we had to be content with Lukewarm water. The bath is tiny and oddly shaped and as a consequence any shower ends with a soaking wet floor.

Our return after a day out was met with coffee cups not being washed and dirty linen. The hotel has a no smoking policy, but this was ignored as some tourist continued smoking in the corridor outside our room. When entering the hotel you often had to walk through a haze of smoke.

We phoned reception to assist with arranging airport transport but was forced to go all the way to the entrance to sort this out. We were not allowed to charge anything to our room, as we booked and paid for our accommodation through Agoda. This has not been a problem in any of the other hotels we stayed.

Breakfast was ordinary at best and we had to go to Highlands to have a decent cup of coffee. By far the worst hotel we stayed in during an amazing holiday in Vietnam.

Great customer service
I stayed with a friend last november for 2-3 days and I lost my phone. The front desk attendent Nguyen thi hong no helped me get my iphone when I left it at a taxi. She was so helpful that she went out of her to help me get the phone.

Can't thank her enough

Don't bother..they manage to stress you out...and are clearlt cost cutting!
I'm not often moved to write reviews... and only comment on seriously good or seriously bad experiences. But very seriously, save your money and look elsewhere!

Booked a senior deluxe room. No help at arrival, staff too busy watching tv in reception. In fact, staff largely bored and disinterested and useless throughout my stay. At check in passport was retained until checkout and then presented with a 50 point list of items to check in the room "2 teaspoons, 1 mirror, 3 pillows, 1 chair ..." , several were missing and my list in the room was different from the one at reception. No face or hand towels, they had been deleted from the list and other missing items... 3 trips to reception to resolve to avoid being charged at checkout! Room smelled of paint/chemicals (?) Balcony at the side and facing the breakfast room of the adjacent hotel 8 feet away, no balcony furniture. 4 ft long bath, lukewarm water Had to change room to resolve), weak shower at waste height with no fixing to hold at head height. Asked to pay for mini bar items and laundry I hadn't used at checkout.

Basically, feels like they've run out of money and are cutting corners. Another reviewer mentioned the suspicious nature of the place, I should have listened.

I would say the location is good, but there are hundreds of hotels in the area. Not recommended, I can't understand the review score on the Web, maybe a past life/operator? I've stayed in better 2*'s!
