We loved our stay at champa island. From the moment we arrived with our 3 children, the staff were amazing, especially guest services manager Trung. We wouldn't have enjoyed nha trang as much if it wasn't for staying here, it is quiet and peaceful, our room was always spotless and the service was 10/10. I would highly recommend champa island, probably one of the best resorts we have stayed in with the kids. Thanks again for making our trip amazing. We will be back!

I've visited this property in March! time flies.
This is a lovely property shows the pure and authentic part of Nha Trang.
The atmosphere here is so calm and peaceful, the pool was huge.
When I visited there, the construction was still going on so not sure about now.
It is a huge property and pretty new, I guess 75% Chinese group, 10% Russian FITs and 15% etc ethnic group including Koreans.

Everything was perfect till the horrible incident.
Nobody believes when I said I got 2nd degree burn from the tap water.
Well, that happened. So please be careful.
Do not turn the tap to the left, it will get so HOT.
The staffs treated me well, and helped to get over to the nearest hospital.
Few of them were well trained and kind service was provided.
But they could cover the charge for this accident as it happened under your roof by your facility, but they did not so keep in mind that do not get hurt! Costy and it will ruin your trip. Room service quality was average and laundry was not bad.
I am a frequent traveler, and ex-hotelier. So normally I dont give a damn about anything because I know how hard it can be working for a hotel.
But here, the few things that I gotta mention.

1. Please do not knock on your guests' door if it's a midnight, it's very rude. (Laundry service guy, when it is hanged outside with a written paper saying service RQ, it's a universal sign that I want a laundry service)

2. Hope your so called front office manager(Ms.Yen TRAN) actually do something for your guests someday, not just sitting back in your office. Burn accident is very serious hazard and it happened at your property, you have no courtesy to ask or see me to see if I am ok? but you've got a time sending me an email saying do not write this on Tripadvisor? was that a joke? I am sorry but that does not seem right. Your hitting system can actually hurt people, and what you've replied to me is it is working fine? Then I got a burn from a genie? Why don't you stay in the same room with your family, then you will understand what i've gone through

3. That guy who checked me out, I don't even want to mention anything for this guy, please quit working if you do not want to work as a receptionist before you make other guests unhappy as well.

We spent the final leg of our trip (7 days in total in Nha Trang) and the first two days was at a Airbnb in Uma Condotel... let me say if you’re on holidays don’t go with a Airbnb in this resort. We changed to the Kubera after two days which is on the same island and it was like comparing apples with oranges. The Kubera level of service and attention was excellent. The rooms were excellent and the hotel staff in particular Trung were fantastic. The facilities were excellent and it’s only a short taxi ride to the city Centre. All in all highly rated and would not hesitate in recommending the Kubera hotel to tourists. The only suggestion I would provide to the hotel is they should have washing machines/ dryers in the rooms which would eliminate a lot of clothes being hung out on the balconies.
