We spent a much too short 3 nights in a hillside villa. It was a magical and relaxing stay in a special and unique place.
We stayed in villa number 7 and found it perfect for the start of our honeymoon. It was spacious, comfortable and private. Views to die for from every vantage point - infinity pool, lounge, bedroom, outside shower ( there is also an inside one). We really loved laying back in the deep bath with a glass of champagne just soaking in the view. The six senses website photos probably didn't do it justice.
The facilities and level of service were exceptional! Our butler Tran was always there when needed but also gave us space. Without exception the staff were wonderful. Courteous, prompt, helpful & respectful! They are a credit to their brand. GM Garry was also on hand to welcome and farewell every guest and goes out of his way to make sure every guest experience is positive.
The resort is fairly large and bikes are provided to get around. If you are not bike adept (which we were not) your butler is always available to ferry you from one side of the resort to the other. Tran was always there within minutes no matter what the time. A word of caution though some of the villas are remote and require you to walk up and down numerous stairs. I did not count them but I read in an earlier review over 100. This was not a major issues for us but could be if you were not active.
We highly recommend the spa and the gym. Exhilarating treatments and a good range of equipment for a hotel gym. We really enjoyed the trek to a nearby secluded beach. It was a challenging hike - climbing over rocks, using ropes etc... - but was rewarded with a picnic breakfast on you very own private beach.
Of course, paradise comes at a price. The resort is very expensive by Vietnamese standards. However, not expensive by western standards. Great for a special occasion or event.
