We only had a couple of hours spare on our way to the airport, so opted for the VND40,000 special mudbath package. Don't come here expecting a relaxing spa experience with one of the cheaper deals because it's just not going to happen. The mudbath part of the experience resembles a production line, starting with a warm, high pressure communal shower with up to a dozen others to make sure you're clean. Next it's into your tub of freshly poured mud, which is quite warm and has the consistency of thin custard. Most of the tubs are quite public, so you could find yourself being gawped at by groups of Russian tourists being herded past by attendants, some armed with megaphones. You get about 30 minutes wallowing in the mud, another communal shower, then into a hot mineral bath. After that you're directed by attendants to the waterfall experience, then a cave full of high pressure water jets. Once you've had enough of that you're given a voucher for a light meal and herded out to an area of hot/cold waterfalls, pools, sandy beaches, water slides, etc, which you're free to use as long as you like.
The whole place is modern and very clean, with lockers available and towels provided. Certainly worth a visit for something different if you're not on a tight budget.
