This was a rainy day activity with our three children. The previous day we had been at Vinpearl, which has an impressive aquarium and underwater "walkway" where you can view the fish up close. The National Oceanographic Museum is also dedicated to marine life, but is quite understated and a little run down. On the day we visited there was only one other group of people wandering around. However, the fish tanks provide visitors with a chance to look (and sometimes touch) various marine life which our children enjoyed. The preserved fish, sea snakes etc were suitably creepy, and reminiscent of a previous era. If you have young children, and have some spare time, it is worth a visit.
