As others have stated from the Diamond Princess we also enjoyed our tour with Nha Trang River Tours. It was so interesting to see how some of the people make a living. Seeing the children at the orphanage was a highlight of the tour for us. The tour was well organized & we enjoyed the lunch. This is a great tour for the price.

We arrived with Diamond Princess on October 2013 in Port of Na Trang. I organized a full day tour with Mr. Dung Pham thru cruise critic. We started with 18 persons in private group for full day Na Trang Country site tour. This tour was so popular we ended up to 4 groups in 4 mini buses. The tour was excellent, very enjoyable and met our expectations, we've seen a lot within such a short period of time. Pick up was on time inside the port and the return was on schedule plenty of time before the Ship sail away. Mr. Dung Pham was our tour guide in my group. He was courteous, funny and very professional, please see more review from other people from our groups. I highly recommended Mr. Dung Pham tours to anybody who plan to visit Na Trang and will enjoy the taste of Vietnam................

We visited Nha Trang as a port of call on the Diamond Princess in October and booked this tour with people we communicated with on the Cruise Critic site. This tour was tailor made for the passengers on the Diamond Princess as organised by Han one of the passengers it was so popular 4 groups were formed. We drove through the country side past rice paddies, fruit orchards and an ox drawn cultivator then we visited an embroidery factory, Pagoda orphanage with photo opportunity for the Amitabha Budda statue. Next was the rice paper making factory, then a village that made conical hats, followed by an ancient house. We stopped for lunch at a riverside restaurant, lunch was not to my liking and was a bit light on, but other guests enjoyed it. After lunch we visited the Ponagar Temples followed by an hour at the Dam markets then we were returned to the port. Our guide Huy did a great job and went out of his way to solve a small problem that arose. Cost was $70 US there was a $30 port charge in this so great value for money, i would recommend Dung Pham tours.

We did this day tour when we visited on the Diamond Princess in October. We were collected from the port on time in an air conditioned mini-van, a total of twelve people. The tour had been booked prior to our departure and was much less expensive than the ship's organised tour.

Dung our guide took us to many places, including the Pogada Orphanage, an embroidery factory, a home where conical hats were made and sold as well as a mat factory. A delicious lunch on the river was also included and was very fresh and tasty.

We returned to the ship in plenty of time and had a very enjoyable day, due mainly to the small group of people and our informative and helpful tour guide.

If you plan on visiting Nha Trang, then this tour is highly recommended as a value for money option.

Dung collected us at 8:30am at hotel reception setting off for the Ponagar temple. A great temple, lovely views and Dung had a good understanding of the history. We then walked down some side streets to an awaiting river boat. It was nice to see Nha Trang from a different point of view, the river.

We visited an ancient Vietnamese house where we enjoyed fresh fruit and an interesting look around... and of course, a shop to purchase from if you desired!

We then left to an awaiting horse and cart which took us through the village to the Pagoda orphanage and mat weaver. Then onto a beautiful riverside restaurant for lunch, which was delicious and ensured we were bursting full! The same boat driver then picked us up and onto the Mud Bath and Hot Spring's, good fun!

Dung is an exceptional tour guide, he never rushed us and was flexible to our pace for the day.
