Diving in Vietnam is not as good as it could be. Sadly there is a lot of fishing going on, so eventhough the coral reefs are quite intact, there are not many fish to see. Three Kings is a fabolous spot, apparently the best in Vietnam. It is just beautiful to dive down there, but we have been lucky as the visibility on other dives was not as good. On the island there is Jonny the diveinstructor who sometimes seemed a bit annoyed when we approached him, and was more friendly with the locals than with the tourists. You can meet him every evening at the bar from 6-8pm and organise your next day trip. He never seemed too interested, but anyways, things worked out nicely, the boat and staff were always on time, completely prepared, nice and helpful and ready to go.
We actually saw a Whale Shark, which was a great surprise to everybody involved as nobody really expected it! Apparently it was the first one somebody saw in the last 5 years, so we were extremely lucky, and extremely happy :-)
