“It was good enough!”
Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

Booked to stay 2 nights but realised we could only stay 1, the lady at reception was completely fine about this, so that was good! Room was fine, nothing too awful about it. Didn't get much of a nights sleep though as there were some really noisy girls on our floor.. Very inconsiderate. So maybe a little warning to people not to be too loud when they arrive drunk in the early mornings wouldn't go a miss! Good enough location.. Would probably stay again!

Except for a great location, this place has absolutely nothing going for it. We were barely greeted when we arrived, no one volunteered the wifi password, they didn't have any map of Nha Trang, and the staff seemed generally indifferent. The room was filthy. And I mean filthy. And I say this after traveling in Asia for a couple of weeks. The mat at the entrance to the bathroom was too disgusting to step on. Everything was filthy and covered in dust. Worst of all, both the duvet and pillows were the kind that don't have pillow cases / duvet cover, which means they are NEVER cleaned between guests. It was simply disgusting. And the bed, don't get me started on that sad excuse for a mattress. I wouldn't let my enemies sleep on something like that.
The only nice thing I can say about the place is that they let us shower in the evening before our night bus after we checked out that morning.
Don't stay there, you can do better and there are plenty of hotels in that (great) location.

Room Tip: Don't stay there if you want a good room.

When we first arrived we were taken to the top floor - the elevator stopped a floor below - had to dodge piles of old washing, and were shown to our room. It was a square room with nothing but 3 beds, a tv, and a glass door for the cleaners (who were the only ones who go on that floor) to see in. The toilet was outside in their laundry area, disgusting and dirty. We quickly complained, and after arguing with the receptionist that no, a 'deluxe double with ensuite' was not anywhere near the description of the room she'd shown us, she gave us a key to a better room. The next room was much better but I can't believe she'd try to sell the 3 bed cupboard - and we'd paid $22.50!!! Disappointing treatment of paying guests just so she can get that extra buck. It's also hidden down an alley and out of the way so there are much better places for cheaper and in better locations. You also have to work through a homeless-person area filled with excrement. Just book somewhere else!

We only stayed in the hotel for about 2 hours because when we where heading off to the beach we met some guys who had their money stolen. When the staff realized they we telling us that they reacted very agressively, it even came to the point where the owner run downstairs to get an iron stick to hit the guy with it. We had to stop him and they were very offensive with the girls there, taking his pants off and flushing them. Things went too crazy for us so we left, we realized that if we had any problems there they would probably react the same way.
Worst experience in the southeast asia, do not go there. Not only because they robbed money, but because they can react the same way if you have a problem.

Definitely safe, basic, day staff were awesome. Paid for a deluxe room, in our room the first night and got blasted by the music from across the street, asked for a different room and they said no rooms available. My husband went down at 7:00 am to request another room for that night or we were going to leave, lo and behold a room was available immediately. A lower rated room of which we saw no discount in price, but at the back and way quieter. Toilet and shower sharing the same stall was a bit of a multitasker!! It is a budget hotel and we got what we paid for, pay the extra and go farther down the strip for a better view and quieter rest.

Room Tip: Save the couple of bucks and take a smaller room near the back they are quieter.

I loved this place. The staff are very nice and helpful, the hotel is close to everything and about 5 minutes to the beach, the room was big and clean. My air conditioning and fan, warm water, cable tv, and mini fridge all worked great. The door does have frosted glass in it but I am single female traveller that stayed on the ground floor and I did not think it was an issue. You can't see through it, just light and dark. I would stay here again.

Good location for main town (restaurants and bars) rooms are ok size with ac, fan, cable we had a balcony. Shower worked fine/ was a bit loud in the early mornings as it's next to the airforce training college but another room might be quieter. We hired a bike from here and went to Ba Ho falls and also the mud baths.
