Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad place but #1 of all restos in Nha Trang? C'mon people!! I believe there is a travel mirage in Vietnam where weary travelers tired of bun and com will go anywhere and eat anything that resembles American food. And at this point, anything resembling something from home tastes great. Enter Texas BBQ.
I had that mirage a few weeks back and tried the chili fries, the cheeseburger and the ribs were a little dry but good. The sides were a bit bland but servicable. The potato salad wasn't seasoned very well, the corn was chewy. The cheeseburger was actually a fail - meh toppings, stalish tasting bread. I had a better burger at the Booze Cruise down the street (great bun). The one highlight though was the beer - frozen mugs and ice cold. We gulped down at least 2 beers each. It didn't exactly satisfy my hankering for solid American food, but it was a refreshing change. Service was ok, not excellent but not anything to complain about.
It's a decent place but I will say that we tried many restaurants on the same street in Nha Trang and they were all candidly better than this place. Also Nha Trang has great seafood for super cheap on the beach, please try it!
