We stayed at the Camellia for 3 nights. It is clean, efficiently run and has a very nice staff. The hotel has an upscale yet comfortable feel. Great location. Excellent food within walking distance. Wireless internet in room. We had laundry done and it was ready in 12 hours at a very reasonable price. The most extensive breakfast buffet we experienced in all of the places we stayed in Vietnam (good food too). Overall, would highly recommend.
I used the Camellia spa and would not recommend it for the average tourist. The price is very low (30 dollars for 90 min) and the massage is "adequate" however there is lots of talking among the staff during the massage, the lights are left on and very bright and the music is very loud. Imagine getting a 90 minute massage to bad 1980's pop music? Probably not worth it unless you bring an eye mask and ear plugs!More
