Cong is the man. Great for people who wish to takes things at their own pace. We did the one day tour of Hue with Cong explaining all the details of the area as we drove around. We were then given as much time as needed to wonder around each site. We were also fitted in last minute with no dramas.
We took the day tour from Hue to Hoi An and our guide was Cong Anh. He was the best tour guide we had in our Vietnam trip. He was very friendly and showed us many interesting things and tips.
We would definitely take his other tour offers when we revisit Vietnam.
The visit to citadel and the Khai Dinh and Minh Mang Kings' is very worthwhile to see and imagine the splendor of the past dynasties that once ruled Vietnam. The timber works, interior decors of the tomb and citadel and serene environment is something unique that depicts the luxurious life style of the rulers.
The trip was amazing. We spent 4 days with Cong. He is a perfect driver, professional and so friendly that he was not our driver but a friend. He is so flexible that you can really decide what you want to do, when you would like to eat. We can change the plans of the weather is bad. He think about everything always water bottles available in the car and something to snack. Moreover if you want you can plug your Mobile phone to play music in the car.
The first evening he organized a BBQ on the beach with the seafood that we bought together on a local market. He even thought to take his laptop to have good music by the sea. You can't imagine how it was perfect to have fresh seafood, music and beers by the sea.
We chose to find out our accommodation by ourselves. For this he was so helpful to advice us on different hotels and we really found good deals with him as well as for the food. It was always fresh and tasty.
We really recommend Cong if you plan to visit Central of Viet Nam. We won't hesitate to contact him again if we come back to central Viet Nam.
