This is a beautiful and historic site, particularly the areas around the water. You really get a sense of the grandeur and care with with the site was first designed as a retreat for the emperor before becoming his tomb. However there is currently lots of renovation work and many parts are inaccessible. Otherwise it would have been a definite 5 star review.

This tomb was a bit less busy than some of the others, I think we were here in the late afternoon. Lots of workers were having little naps in the shade on the grounds. It's nice and quiet here and very photogenic.

This tomb is near our homestay,
It took only 10 mins by bicycle.
This tomb is romantic & has a lot of legends behind.
I like the lake in this tomb where you can sit down and watch Hue music performances.
