Great spot, beautiful temples and gardens. The place was very interesting and most enjoyable. The only down side was the very persistent motorbike taxis.

Take some time for this tomb. It's a real big park and you can easily spend 2 hours there. There are lots of buildings and ruins in a big and very nice garden that really invites to wander around. In fact this is a miniature copy of the imperial city. Really impressive. Here it might even make sense to go with a guide.

This is a really lovely site, where you can spend 30-45 minutes.
The pond in the middle of the site is so lovely, with numerous water lillies, frogs and fish.
As for the tombs themselves, well, they are less well preserved and not so properly presented.
Still, read some information about the site prior to your arrival - who knows, maybe YOU will find the hidden treasure in the site. :)

This was the first imperial tomb we visited and it was really surprising. It is a beautiful, quiet and impressive complex of buildings with a few lakes and canals.
We had some photos in traditional dresses made to remember the visit :)
You should visit it with Khai Dinh and Minh Mang.

the most important and beautifulest of three tombs in Hue. We went by river and then took moto. very funny and we had opportunity to see vietnamese country too. The tomb contains a maravillous pavillion (used to make the movie "Indochine") and a temple.
