“The Citadel centre”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2013

This is the place that noone went to unless you were the emperor, one of his many wives or a enuc.....Was damaged during the war 1968,however most of it still standing or being restored. A credit to those doing the restoration work.

“Must-see in Hue”

Not much to see as a stand-alone building, but it's part of the wider Imperial Complex which IS something to check out.

“Not much to see”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2013

The Forbidden Purple City is only a small part of the citadel. It was completely demolished during the war and has not been restored yet. The Citadel as a whole is worth though and some parts of it have been well restored

“Not much to see”

There is very little left here to see having been destroyed in the wars. Unless you are a real history buff, you are better spending time around the Imperial City.
