“Fun Bike Trip”
Reviewed April 10, 2014

Although our hotel would have preferred to sell us an organized bike tour, we had them acquire 2 rental bikes for us for a few dollars and did tell us which road to take to get to the bridge. Doing it on our own was more fun and peaceful. Beautiful little bridge and great photo ops of SE Asian life along the way.

“Dont miss the lady in the museum next door”
Reviewed April 10, 2014

Don't miss the agricultural museum next to this lovely old bridge. Inside was a dear old lady who demonstrated all the different artefacts on show. She was hilarious, such a star, a real character.
It was a joy to behold, watching her move from one exhibit to the next, not quite knowing what she was going to get up to next. A very sweet memory to take home. The bridge is good too, nice and shady, its 4.5 miles, 7km east of Hue.

“Well worth a visit.”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

I was reluctant to take an organised half day tour but so glad I did in the end. I would never have gone to this place and it was wonderful to see this old bridge and the museum.
The kids loved the hands on approach to processing the rice and the wonderful lady who demonstrates the skills and processes was very charming and engaging.
A great venue and worth a visit.

“Interesting bridge”
Reviewed March 1, 2014 via mobile

My son and I hired a couple of cycles in Hue and cycled out to this bridge. The bike ride took about 30 mins to cover the 6 K but that was die to lots of photo opportunity stops. Once you are out of Hue you are into fairly rural countryside which is interesting to cycle through . We passed lots of rice fields with workers bent double. Very SE Asian. The bridge is pretty to look at but you do get a bit of hassle from people selling goods. Go over the bridge to the flood marker post. Staggering flood levels in 1999!
