The cafe has a great menu! Western and Vietnamese foods. We found ourselves here a lot trying to beat the heat with cold drinks.
We had Thu to set up two tours for us. The first one was the city tour on the motorbikes. We had a good time and seen a lot. I think we paid $12 usd per person. We elected not to do the citadel during our tour because the heat was so bad by noon (over 100 F). We went back the next morning and toured the Citadel. It was a disappointment.
The second day we took the DMZ tour hwy 1. We did take the private tour which was well worth the extra cash. I think we paid around $72 usd for the two of us. The car that we were picked up in was fairly new Toyota corolla and the AC was great! The private car for sure was a plus because we missed all the big tour groups. We actually picked up our guide along the way. She spoke Excellent English and French. The Vinh Muc tunnels were better than Cu Chi tunnels. If you go on your own without a guide there are no guides there unless you have over 10 in your group. If you have trouble climbing stairs this would be difficult for you as well.
On the tours you are responsible for entry fees.
We had our clothes cleaned with the laundry behind Cafe on wheels. We didn't get all of our clothes back. After we found that we had clothes missing we returned and some of our socks were in someone else's clothes to be picked up. We didn't get all of them back because apparently others had picked up the clothes and didn't notice that they had clothes that didn't belong to them. So, my recommendation would be find another laundry. I now have 3 pairs of socks to finish another month in Vietnam.
We would recommend the food and tours at Cafe of Thu Wheels!
