I had reserved a table and it was ready and waiting downstairs which seemed to get an almost apologetic explanation that there was a large party upstairs and was a bit noisy. We were offered to go up and take a look but we decided just to take the table we had been reserved. Admittedly it was a bit overly bright and lacking in much decor but still perfectly good. Upstairs was noisy from where we were so our choice was right. Large coach party of Germans. Perhaps a different night would have provided a better experience. That said the service was good and very friendly and the choice of food on the menu also good. It describes itself as Vietnamese and French Cuisine but having had quite a bit of that during our Vietnam trip I had a delicious bowl of pasta. We still had a Vietnamese starter and it was also good. I get the impression upstairs would have been nicer but as a meal certainly the flavours and quality were good.
