The room was dirty and tired, and the bathroom was worse. Receptionist could not speak english. We had a gecko and cockroach in the room. In the morning, the owner constantly shouted downstairs from 6.30am. Photos do not rifle t what the place is like. For $10 it was very cheap, but would recommend paying more and staying elsewhere.

This is a nice hotel, especially for the budget, but the staff are so pushy. Our room however, had no window so was stuffy, and the shower was a dribble of cold water - try hot and the water stops flowing. Whenever you walk past reception, it is a constant stream of questions about your plans. If the receptionist gets the chance she would force you into buying every single tour from her. They are very money greedy!

My boyfriend and I ended up booking our train to Nha Trang with her, because we were unable to get to the train station due to a tour. This was a BIG MISTAKE! She charged us $39 each and said she would buy us the soft sleeper (first class). When I asked her the next day, she confirmed she had booked the soft sleeper. However, as our taxi arrived, she handed us our tickets and said she had booked us the hard sleeper, and only gave us $5 back (between us). On arriving at the train station we discovered, the receptionist had booked us the worst berths - right at the top with no space and impossible to get up and down. We had payed $37 for this, when the price on the ticket was $23!!! Absolute rip off.

I would not recommend this place and will not be going back again, due to the pushy, lying staff. It gets 2 stars (rather than 1) as the room was good for the price.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst passing through. Really good location, close to lots of restaurants. Payed $ 10 a night with a great free breakfast. Room was clean and spacious with comfy bed and tv had plenty of english channels. The staff were extremely friendly especially the receptionist named Ms Linh, she helped us book a hotel in hoi an where we were to go next at a good price. Spoke wonderful english and she was very helpful, lovely lady! Wish there were more hotels like this around vietnam.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The value for money is amazing and the price includes breakfast. We had a spacious room with a balcony, with a/c, fan, many English TV channels and a nice soft bed. Breakfast was very tasty. We cannot complain about the facilities of this hotel however the receptionist was too pushy trying to sell us organised tours. We were sitting and eating breakfast and she was standing above us and asking where are we going today or tomorrow. Seriously, that was very annoying and had the opposite effect than meant to. We haven't booked any trip through the hotel but through other agencies. Whenever we were passing by the reception wr heared the same questions...where are you going tomorrow, do you want a bicycle, when are you leaving and do you have a ticket? We were answering these questions until we had enough and just ignored them in the end.
To summarise, the hotel is a great value for money and if not the pushy receptionist we would stay there again...

Stayed for one night whilst in Hue on the way to Hanoi. We stopped off to see the Citadel. Found the rooms very reasonable, 2 double beds, aircon and affordable minibar all for $5 a night pp. At the citadel I had a hired bike stolen and the hotel were very helpful in me resolving the issue in order to get my receipt for my insurance. All in all a pleasant stop over in quirky Hue.

Room Tip: The stairs a quite steep and with no elevator, it may not be suitable for certain people to stay on...

Down an alley. Hard to find the first time. Lots of other cheap joints all around. $5 in taxi from railway. The mother also runs a cheap but good restaurant 15 mins walk away. Father Nin (Ning) ex tennis champ & sons, Nin & Nin help organize tours but may be difficult to understand. Wifi often stuck on Viet language. Beds comfortable, very firm to hard. Showers hot but dribbly,no power.
Friendly folks trying hard to please.
Cheap $72, 3 nights 3 people.

We've booked for two nights but only stayed one. The cleaning is really poor (specially the places not so visible) and the bed was terrible... and you should know that you'd be accompanied by cockroachs. The staff is very kind but that wasn't enough to make us stay more. For this money you can do much better in this city.
