Good location with spaciuos rooms. The staff was so friendly and helpful you were always greeted with lemon water, juice or a drink of some kind. Great advise on travel to our next destination. Excelent value for the money.

We stayed for two nights in February. Because of the Vietnamese New Year, Jade hotel was alomst fully booked and (I think) we got the last room available. Needless to say, it was not the best room in the hotel. It was on the ground floor, a bit noisy in the morning, and the window looked directly onto a small alleyway so there was not much light in the room. Otherwise, it was a nice, clean room. I had the impression that the balcony rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors are quite nice.

We did thoroughly enjoy our stay. The reception is light and airy, with great wifi. The real treat though is the staff, who were by far the most charming, friendly, and accommodating hotel staff we encountered in Vietnam. Every time you walk in, either after a long afternoon sightseeing or a quick run to the minimart, you are cheerfully greeted with fresh juice, tea, or coffee and a little conversation.

The included breakfast is made to order and very good, albeit a little on the small side. The second morning my boyfriend and I ordered our respective dishes and one to share, and it wasn't a problem or an extra charge.

Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend this hotel. Try to get a room off of the ground floor!

We just felt so welcome here. The staff really goes out of their way to help (not always successfully because of language issues, but hey, it's the tought that counts). The location is ok, centrally located but on a busy road. The rooms are fine but small and the bathrooms are tiny so there's not a lot of space to open up a suitcase or keep some toiletries handy (not very practical when travelling with 3 children under the age of 8). Breakfast was not great. In the end it comes down to this: if you can afford to spend more money, there are probably better hotels in Hue, if you're travelling on a budget, I doubt you'll find a place better than this.

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean but had a bad smell in the bathroom. We guess it came from the water pipes.
The staff is very friendly and always asks how you are and offers drinks and fruit.
Breakfast was good aswell but we had to order two dishes because one was not enough. This was not a problem though.
We did not do a tour with the hotel because we thought that it was too expensive. But we did book a car to take us to the airport which was 14$. This is about the same price for a taxi, maybe a bit more expensive.
WIFI worked and in addition they have two PCs in the lobby.
Overall we liked this place and would recommend it, since it is very cheap and the staff is great!

We stayed here based on reviews on Tripadvisor. We also had stayed at their sister property "Hanoi Charming Hotel" in Hanoi. This hotel is set in an antique bungalow. Everything about this hotel is amazing including the price.

When we arrived, the staff greeted us with cold towels and gave us a passion-fruit drink while they completed the check-in formality. We were led into our room. We had asked for a twin room and we got two double beds which was amazing. The beds were very comfortable and probably the best hotel experience we had in Vietnam.

The staff also helped us with our laundry and they booked an SUV for us for touring the city. It cost us $30 and was worth it. When we left the next morning, they gave us bananas and sandwiches to eat on the train. We are vegetarians and had communicated to them about our dietary restrictions and they were very accommodating.

The girls who work at the front desk are amazing and they work super hard. I recommend tipping them if you can!

We only stayed here one night, flew in from Hanoi early morning. Took the public bus which actually took us right to the door - cheap but a bit hot and dirty (the bus that is - not the hotel!).

The Jade is a small hotel, with everything, including a dining area, happening in the small lobby. The staff welcome you with smiles, a refreshing drink and fresh chilled wet cloths to freshen up with - stayed a couple of weeks ago, but seem to remember they also bring you fresh fruit.

The room was a good enough size, with a very comfortable bed, good bathroom and most importantly, everything very clean. The staff had decorated the bed with petals and made the room look very nice - fresh flowers in a vase also.

I was very unwell that day and evening, but the staff were great and I felt very looked after. We only stayed one night, but if you have to get ill, this is a good hotel to do it in - they really care and the staff could not be nicer. This is a small friendly hotel - great value and well placed to get about Hue. You will feel safe here.

Stayed here two nights, place was excellent. Room was lovely I had a twin room all to myself and loved it. Staff were really great, always greeted me by my first name and welcoming drink and always offering a cold towel, fruit etc everytime I returned. 5 mins walk to river and many bars/restaurants etc around it Would definitely recommend, and will certainly stay here again hopefully on a return to Hue.
