I have just eaten here. The food was good. It was tasty. It was well prepared. It was a well balanced mixture of tastes and textures. It was cheap. The beer was not marked up to silly prices and neither was the Dalat wine, should you want a typical Vietnamese wine to go with typical Vietnamese food. The people running this place are decent and very hard working people. They are honest. They did not ask me to give them a trip advisor review.
The only down side is finding this place (south from the river at the Saigon Morin corner on Le Loi, second right and first left ... turn by the Indian Restaurant and walk about 30m down the alley and its on your left.
These are decent people serving tasty home cooked Vietnamese food at rock bottom prices.
Go there and spurn posh surroundings, décor and ambience. This neat and tasteful extension of a front room is unlikely to disappoint.
Not for those who demand elegantly presented but bland fusion food.
