Read about Bloom in the Lonely Planet guidebook and decided to have lunch there to support a good cause. It's an unassuming and simple kind of place, probably better for breakfast or lunch rather than dinner.
The coffee and baguette sandwiches are tasty and inexpensive, and the brownies are delicious! The staff was friendly.
There is a display on the wall that shows the work they've done to help disadvantaged children.
Reading some the reviews, I'm not sure what people expected when they ate there. Bloom is a nice little café. Nothing more, nothing less. It's not fine dining, yet it's a neat little place to visit for lunch.
