You will not be disappointed, the bed & linen is amazing.
Great breakfast selection with extensive choice of western & asia food.
The deep bath & powerful shower are behind door with seperate wc, yes the sink is outside the main bathroom, but we found this functonial & quirky!!
The pool/spa area are brilliant too. The pool is a good size for a few lengths!
Book it; you won't regret it.

We liked this hotel, comfy, clean room, very comfy bed, but a bit disfunctional with a sink in the middle of the room! Aircon fine and housekeeping good. really good breakfast choice and friendly very attentive staff. Reception staff very efficient and friendly, and offered us free a late check out when I told them the time of my flight out.
Location is a bit off but it is a fairly easy walk to the perfume river.
Pool area nice and clean and the pool looks inviting but we didn't try it.
The iffy design bit, apart from the sink in the middle of room!, comes when you exit the lifts on the ground floor to find the staircase in the way about 2 metres in front of you with a sign saying "mind your head".
A very pleasant 3 night stay.

This hotel is very luxurious with quality linen & very comfortable beds. The pool was a bit cloudy but we used it all the same. If this hotel was closer to the perfume river it would have been a great stay. The staff were very friendly & helpful.

This was our last day in Vietnam so we thought we would splurge a little bit. Very nice welcome and check in experience, amazing breakfast, lovely pool. Shame the hotel was so quiet when we wwere there as it lacked a little atmosphere but when busy i bet this hotel is a great place to hang out. Would highly recommend this hotel should you be looking for a work trip but equally a trip with your partner. Walk to the Citadel is a bit too far but only 50k VND so hardly a big issue. Bars and restaurants are probably a 10-15 min stroll whioch was no issue for us.

the Indochine Palace is indeed a real 5-star hotel with soul. Staff's friendliness and customer service is impressive, especially the professionality of the girls at reception and concierge counters. Nice rooms of a good size, but suitable only for couples, for others a bit too open space with bathroom area and wc integrated into the room structure. Rooms impeccable clean, good beds. Location a bit far away from river and citadel but staff is quick with organising reasonable taxis.
Nice pool area and gym. Breakfast buffet is good but could contain a better variety of cheeses.
Outside premises need more maintenance and look partly neglected, room balconies show partly stain and could use same paint. Overall a very good choice to stay in Hue.

Room Tip: high floor room facing the pool is quieter

Well I've now stayed at this hotel on 3 separate occasions beginning in 2010 soon after it opened as the hotel celadon. The hotel has continued to improve with the staff gaining experience dealing with travelers. They had previously adopted this sort of odd practice of using western names for their local staff....this practice has been shelved and staff are using given Vietnamese names. Hotel itself very clean and luxurious. Clearly nicest spot in Hue( though some would argue for la residence)....I've stayed at both and am partial to BW. Breakfast great, pool fantastic...nice small workout room. Only prior criticism was feeling like I was literally only guest staying at hotel( a bit eerie).... Appears more tour buses unloading guests from Asia so I no longer feel alone in the hotel.
