We spent one night at the M Boutique hotel on 14th July. The hotel is located in district 1, down a dead end street. Like most budget hotels in Vietnam, it is slender and tall, with compact rooms. The property and rooms were very clean and well appointed. The area is

Stayed here and had the 4 course fixed menu which was not cheap but extremely good.
The following day we went for happy hour at pool (half price local beer) but it was lashing down with rain so we (accompanied by waitress) moved into adjoining restaurant area under cover. When we came to pay, the beer was not half price but actually higher priced than the full priced pool bar.
Upon complaining to restaurant, reception and management staff we were told that the happy hour only applied at pool and we had to pay full price.
All in all, a bit of a con.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at M boutique hotel. The room on 10th floor was clean, had views of the river and city and had everything you need. Included was good bar fridge, safe , robes and ample space for suitcase.
I loved the close walk to local places including opera house, sky deck, river and local shopping mall. Ben Thanh market was about 10 minute walk from the hotel.
Loved the rooftop bar and views. Prices were a bit higher than local prices but ok.
Breakfast was great with lovely views from 11th floor.(all windows)
Staff were excellent! Any questions were answered promptly and they were very helpful, efficient and friendly .
Only downside was the smallish bathroom . Although very clean , it was a tad on the small side . Would stay there again !

I stayed a few nights in this hotel in June 2019 and thought that the location was excellent for the Opera house, shopping mall and main tourist areas. The reception staff were also fantastic and went out of their way to be friendly and ensure that you had all you needed for your stay.
My room was a little small and smelt of cigarette smoke although it was a non-smoking room, however the smell disappeared when I opened the window, but came back the next evening (I think it was coming in through an air vent in the bathroom)
My main issue was the waiting staff in the dining room - who would ask you to wait for them to bring your eggs at breakfast and then forget to bring them - also there was no point saying how you wanted your eggs as they always came sunnyside up.
I was also not impressed that the bar prices shown at the bar, in the pool area, lifts and in the bedrooms are actually the "happy hour" prices and the real prices are three times as high, but not displayed anythere.
Would stay again, just for the location, but would not bother using the bar.

I've stayed at many different hotels in Saigon and this hotel was similar in many senses to the smaller boutique hotels around Ben Thanh
The taxi cost VND to get here was 160K VND and the same on the way back
The two bedroom apartment was actually just two rooms adjoining and each the same size but one with two single beds. Rooms feel somewhat cramped which is didn’t expect like another apartment complex on Pasteur.
Inside it has a safe, no scales, no clock, ironing board and surprisingly robes are provided.
Electrical powerpoints are provided for local and one international adaptor is provided
Bathroom is small and at times cramped. Whilst I didn’t mind, the design of the shower meant that water leaks to the floor where you brush your teeth.
Breakfast was adequate with a decent spread. See my photos for what’s on offer. There is an egg and noodle station along with cordial style drinks.
Whilst some have given bad reviews and many have given good reviews. My view is this place is good for a one night stay and i would stay elsewhere another time.
Overall for one night, it allowed us to visit the non Ben Thanh side of Saigon more, which we normally stay at.
Stay here if you want to visit the Japanese restaurant district just up the road in Than Van Lung or the Singapore food district. It’s also closer to the opera house.
