Clean rooms stayed here on a couple of occasions between tours staff are very friendly, this hotel is in good location for getting around. Breakfast is buffet and is ok.

Yes they keep your passport upon check-in; personally I have no problem with it. It's safer than to carry it around in Saigon.

We were warmly welcome as we arrived at the hotel. The bell boy was fast to help us with the lugguage. The room and bathroom was clean; aircondition worked well. Beds were pretty hard, but we only spent one night, so it was ok. Breakfast was so-so, but perhaps we have been too pampered from Chen Sea Resort in Phu Quoc Island.

All in all, I can recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay at a convenient location, and not expecting 5-star services.

By the way, the coffee right in front of the hotel was delicious!

This hotel is in District 1 so location is good. We walked most of the time. It is a basic city-hotel with a great value for money if the right rooms are booked ahead! Rooms are clean without any frills. Furnishing is OK. In the 3 rooms we stayed in 2 bathrooms were fine, and one OK but a little worn. I would give this hotel a 4 ratings, if it wasn't for 2 things: the standard rooms have no windows and are all located next to the elevator. It is the kind of elevator that has a loud "pling" when it stops, opens the door, starts again etc. Well, that is what it felt like since the elevator is in use all the time and we did not sleep much. Very noicy! There are 5 or 6 room categories so stay away from the cheapest "standard room". Secondly when we tried to ask for another room they were more than happy to upgrade us to a more expensive room. Problem is that we had to pay more than the difference in room prices. We traded our 2 standard rooms for 1 suite which priced at the same rate as the 2 standard rooms combined, but still had to pay quite a bit for the upgrade. We were told the suite would have 2 double beds, i e sufficient for 2 aduits and 2 children. It ended up having one double and one single bed. Room was much nicer though with windows. Book the right room category from the start to get the best price. Besides the sneakyness with the room upgrade, the personnel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK, fairly standard for this category hotels.

Our first 3 nights here were fine; it turned out we had been upgraded to a "deluxe" room. We arrived back late from Nha Trang to be given a "superior" room. Tiny. With a window (standard has no window!) giving a view of the air conditioning unit. Which whirred most of the night.
It's clean, and the breakfast is OK, but if you are really expecting "superior" you may well be disappointed.

Room Tip: Go for deluxe, although that would cost more. Higher in the hotel is quieter

We stayed here for 1 night just before setting off on a cycling trip across Vietnam and Cambodia. The hotel was good value for money. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning was a godsend. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was a basic buffet breakfast but ok compared so some places i've stayed in.

Enjoyed staying at the Le Duy, rooms were comfortable and clean showers had plenty of hot water and pressure. Manager was a lovely man and staff were helpful when booking tours and gave advice. Breakfast was nice, internet and computers available (facebook not blocked on computers!)

Friendly helpful staff rooms clean but could do with updating. The restaurant for breakfast was too small for the amount of guests we gave up one morning as it was impossible to find somewhere to sit but food was good when we did get a seat another morning ,Close to the backpackers quarter with good bars and restaurants.
