What a great hotel! The guestrooms are a very nice size and the decor is wonderful. I LOVE hardwood floors in a hotel room. The showers were very spacious and really define a luxury shower. The staff was excellent, providing exceptional service. Their English skills were great, which puts a traveler like myself at ease.
The restaurants could not have been any better. The food was amazing, offer inventive Italian, Seafood and Asian dishes.
This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Vietnam. The position is right in the centre of the city with many good restaurants nearby. The rooms were first class, quiet & comfortably appointed. Their staff are as friendly & as helpful as I have ever encounted. Served in the Opera Restaurant, the breakfast was superb. And for a quick lunch or dinner at night, this restaurant could not be faulted.
All in all a great experience.

Our Pool View room was very well furnished , extremely comfortable and very quiet.
The pool and garden are a wonderful haven in central Saigon.
Would recommend everyone visiting Saigon stays at the Park Hyatt for at least a couple of nights
The Park Hyatt is a beautiful hotel in the center of the city. The rooms are what you would expect of a Four Seasons. Tasteful, very comfortable and luxurious. The room is large as is the bathroom which has a rain shower. The TV's are standard and there is no DVD player. Saigon is a challenging city and the Park Hyatt is an oasis. The staff was much more helpful than what you would normally find in Vietnam and well trained. Across the street is a Highlands Coffee (the equivalent of Starbucks in the U.S.). If you can brave the traffic it offers excellent coffee but terrible deserts (beware). The food at the hotel was very good. My husband and I both had services at the spa, which is good but does not offer the same type of care that I've received at similar facilities (no welcome drink or place to relax in between services). You'd be hard pressed to find a better hotel in Saigon especially at such a reasonable price. I believe we payed around $150 a night.

We just returned 2 weeks from Viet Nam, Park Hyatt was our last stop before back to U.S. We pick this hotel because Tripadvisor pick them #1 in Viet Nam. Compare to Imperial Hue Hotel, the staff at Park Hyatt were not as friendly. ( Please read review at Imperial Hue Hotel). We agreed with other travelers that this is the most beautiful Hotel in Viet Nam. The room was very beautiful but size was smaller than average .The bathroom was well design with attractive toiletries.During our three nights stay there , we like everything the hotel offer . It's one of the best hotel we ever stay . Again , we wish the staff could be more friendlier especially at the reception counter. As one of the past reviewer indicate that this hotel for business traveler than tourist traveler.
Mon Deux! What a great hotel. My wife and I just spent the past two weeks in Vietnam (Saigon/Hue/Hanoi) and the Hyatt was the best hotel of the trip. Right off the bat, the service was first class - limo pick up at the airport was on the dot, exceptional welcome upon arrival, in-room check in, BEAUTIFUL interior and exterior, fantastic and impressive lobby, right-sized room, great shower/bath, efficient and friendly service, I could go on and on... We strolled through some of the other high-end hotels on our meanderings afoot throughout the city, and none could compare - even the Caravelle. There were so many great places to eat out on town that we didn't eat in the restaurant hotel - but, from passing by, they smelled great and the design was very cool indeed. The food we did have in the cocktail lounge and by the pool was just great. All told, our stay here was enjoyable - time and $ well spent. I'd stay here again - no question - and wouldn't even bother looking anywhere else.
