The show was visually pleasing - like eye candy and the pace was relentless in the first half hour of the show. It comes with a great cast of energetic youth with an excellent group of musicians. Traditional music instruments showcased were well choreographed. Very good art direction. It is very difficult to decribe what you will get to see, but with the lights, music and energy, it's an amazing combination.

We didn't know what to expect and came out feeling refreshed and impressed with the potential of the youth among the cast.

The cast even took an effort to mingle with the audience after the show, allowing themselves to be photographed with the audience. It was a nice touch and encouraging to see them soft selling.

Children will be mesmerized by the visual antics and music.

HCMC has a beautiful and interesting mix of architectures: traditional houses and modern buildings.
The Saigon Opera is located in a fancy and busy area next to expensive stores like Gucci and international hotels.
It's very well preserved.

We really enjoyed the AO Show at the opera house. It was very entertaining with good acrobats. They upgraded our seats free of charge which was lovely!!! The only things were that it was a bit too chilly (take a little sweater) and I wished people weren't allowed in late (or they were told to sit in the back). Given that the show itself started late, it should not have been anyone late.

This was an incredible show - we got 50% off vouchers ($25 for diamond seats - centre of centre, brilliant seats). What a bargain! The show is really good fun, very entertaining. The acrobatics are mesmerising, the set is really cool, the music is great, fabulous sense of humour injected into city scenes.

I don't think there is a bad seat in the house, you could buy the cheapest seats and still get a great view of the action. I have to be honest and say that full priced seats are expensive and I would not have gone without the discount voucher.

The flyers advertise this as Cirque de Soleil Vietnam style, this is not far from the truth, however the show lacks the finesse of a Cirque show, hence my comment regarding price, at full price I am not convinced that this show is value for money. Having said that, at the price we paid I LOVED this show an would go again at that price.

Wow, wow, wow. What a truly amazing show. I didn’t know what to expect. Reviews say its Vietnam’s version of Cirque du Soleil. Don’t go thinking it will be like cirque. It’s a similar genre but so different. AO show is subtle, beautifully lit, beautifully performed and a very very simple concept. They portray Vietnamese life in the countryside and city using familiar props of the coracle boats and sticks to perform sublime and clever dances. And the city life sketches are very amusing and oh so true to Vietnam! You must go if you have the chance.
