Owner description: This fascinating government building, significant for its role in the Vietnam conflict, is preserved almost exactly as it was in 1966.

Not really a must see in Saigon, but worth a visit. Be sure you visit the basement. Free tours are offered and the guides speak good English.

Very reasonably priced, including a very informative guided tour. I'd suggest a bit of background reading on the American War and South/North history before going so that you have some context before seeing one of the key locations in Vietnam's recent history.

It is a pleasure to see that Vietnamese government would open the doors to anyone who wants to visit this property. What a great concept for use of an object that sits empty unless a high-level foreign delegation rolls into town. The Palace is easy to find and fun to walk, everything is on display, even the movie projection room on the 3rd floor. Very, very nice.

Don't forget to walk up to the 4th floor and see a beautiful rood top terrace and excellent views of the surrounding parks.

Not much to see, just four floors of rooms and the lift was broken!!! The grounds were quite pretty though. Its also more expensive than we thought it was going to be...

I found this to be a great place to visit, you see just how great the difference is between the rich and the poor, again our tour guide was fantastic and gave us all of the history of the Palace, the Palace is lovely but the gardens are amazing
