Te trmpleis only a small one which is located down a small back street. Not too easy to find fit you are using a tourist map as some of the roads are not listed or in the right place. However once found it is a nice little place to visit, there is a turtle pond outside and you can see locals making wishes and putting fish into a bigger pond on your visit. A LOT of intense flying round inside so not ideal you are asthmatic.

“interesting- can't say it's worth the journey”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

We came to see this place as Lonely Planet rated it but it was a bit away from the rest of the sights so we took a taxi. Interesting- can't say it was worth it though- unless there's was something amazing about it that we missed!

Have been spoiled in the past - this place is a Holy place, no doubt, but we found it underwhelming especially after all the hype on Trip Advisor ...

“Highlight of Ho Chi Minh City”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

A bustling place of worship that probably should be on your "must see list" if you're in Ho Chi Minh City. You definitely get the feeling that you're in Vietnam with the thick incense and decorated surroundings. It can get busy with tour groups stopping by, but take the time to get into the feeling of the place and enjoy!

“Dark out here”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

It's always nice visiting a pagoda, once in a while. The Emperor Jade Pagoda is part of a live in complex, so you'll find people eating and sleeping there, workers making phone calls and labourers constructing part of what may be the pagoda so that you'll enjoy more of it. The Emperor Jade Pagoda is off the main centre and aside from it beging a nice retreat from all the hussle of the city, it's nothing special, which makes it nice in a way.
