Certainly worth popping in to have a look, and it's right next to Notre Dame Cathedral which has the famous "crying" statue of the Virgin Mary outside it. So if you are in the area, it makes it a logical choice to see both.
This must be one of the most interesting post offices in the world, combining old-world charm with modern functionality. Highlights are the giant portrait of HCM himself, looking for all the world like Colonel Sanders as he oversees the whole post office from the far end, and the intricately-carved wooden phone booths with world clocks above them.
Shutterbugs will enjoy the arches and architectural details like the huge old-style maps placed like frescos high overhead. There are definitely a few good photos to be had here (oh, and stamps as well, of course - don't forget, this is a fully-functional post office!)
