My wife and I stayed here for three nights at the start of the Vietnam leg of our SEAsia vacation. We'd stayed at the Grand a few years ago and decided to try the Caravelle since it is also central has such a historical past. We opted to take a room on the signature floor and found that to be a wise decision. The staff in the Signature Club are extremely helpful, making reservations and pointing out where to get things, find a pharmacy, etc. The end of the day happy hour with drinks and nibbles is also very welcome and the full breakfast in the Club area was a treat.
Our room was well appointed and attractively decorated. The Japanese ownership is evident in the kimonos that are available, in addition to the terrycloth robes - a welcome touch.
The Saigon Saigon Bar on the 9th floor of the old building is great too and has good entertainment, including a Cuban band.More
