We stayed here for 5 nights as part of a multi centre tour of Vietnam.
When we arrived our room was not quite ready which was a pain as we had just had a 16 hour journey and all we wanted to do was shower and rest.
However, we were offered a room upgrade to an executive room on the top floors which we accepted although this was at an additional cost to us. We were shown to the executive lounge where we were given complimentary drinks whilst our room was being prepared.
After a short time, we were shown to our room. The room was nice and comfortable and the view over the street was lovely seeing the hustle and bustle.
The hotel has a built in water filter therefore the water in the taps are safe to drink. Which is a luxury in Vietnam.
The hotel and room was spotlessly clean and the staff could not do enough to help. They obviously enjoy their jobs and that shows in the customer service.
The executive lounge was a gift we enjoyed afternoon team which was amazing and they have a members only free bar during certain hours of the evening. Good decent wine and spirits available. We noticed that some people commented that the upgrade to executive was not worth it but we completely disagree as we could have breakfast there as well as snacks and nibbles throughout the day. The staff were also very attentive. This is a great place for pre dinner or pre evening drinks all complimentary.
The Wi-fi was excellent and we had no problems with the connection.
The breakfast was very varied but as with all big buffet places some mornings it was a struggle to keep the food piping hot. The eggs were lovely and freshly cooked to order. The Vietnamese breakfast was also yummy. We regret we did not try the lunch or evening menu.
The hotel was centrally located and only a short walk from everywhere, it takes more time to avoid the scooters (ha ha)
Another convenience to us Brits was the plugs were mostly 3 pin although the hotel would also supply travel adapters if needed.
The swimming pool was OK its small for the size of the hotel but as with the rest of the hotel was spotlessly clean.
Would recommend this hotel.
